Etusivu > Accepting Item Donations Accepting Item Donations You may bring donations to Likke or to Mini-Likke in Rusko during opening times. See the contact information here. We can also come and pick up the largest items and loads for a charge. Read more about the pick up service (in Finnish). Please note that textiles are collected separately. Likke has two trolleys, one for packed usable textiles in sealed plastic bags, and one for textile waste. The trolleys are located in the lobby of the rightmost building in Likke’s yard. Read more about textile waste collection. What kind of items do we accept? You can bring us the following items in good condition: Furniture Textiles Carpets Clothes, shoes and accessories; leave the clothes in the trolley for textile waste. Bring shoes and accessories straight to the item collection point. Children’s equipment Dishes, ornaments and decorations Film and music recordings Hobby equipment Craft and art supplies Sports and camping equipment Bicycles Functioning electronics (no refrigeration equipment or washing machines) Construction materials What kind of times do we not accept? For safety reasons, we do not accept the following items: Padded furniture Mattresses, blankets or pillows Suitcases, travel bags or other large bags Safety items, such as safety seats or baby seats Different helmets (excluding ice hockey helmets) Refrigeration equipment Washing machines If the items are not suitable for sale or use, we can deliver individual items from the Limingantulli Recycling Centre for appropriate waste charges. Please note that the item delivery is a charged extra service. The primary waste collection point is the Rusko Waste Management Centre. We only accept card payments. Bring items when you come, take items when you go!
