The staff will check if the criteria of a single piece charge are met (5,06€ per piece of furniture, includes 25,5% VAT). Staff will inform the check-out about the correct charge. Pressure-treated wood Treated wood:painted, varnished, waxed or stained wood, particle board, hardboard and plywood, whole or dismantled pieces of particle board furniture, whole wood furniture, parquet or laminate, wooden concrete molds. Nails, screws or mountings are not a problem, and fixed cabinets or kitchen cabinets are included in treated wood. Biowaste sorting obligation in urban areas Biowaste sorting is mandatory in Oulu’s urban areas starting in 2024. Residents of detached houses must order a separate biowaste bin or utilize a shared bin with neighbors. Alternatively, they must begin composting biowaste by July 19, 2024.
